BISHOP Fox's Community School, Taunton, has appointed its head prefects for the next academic year.
Sandra Eaton, of Bishop Fox's, said: "All prefects went through a rigorous process of selection, and also formal interviews were held with senior staff. Each prefect will lead a team of prefects and represent the school on important occasions. Leadership training will then follow in September, 2007."
The students are: Emma Saunders, head girl, Mark Harrison head boy, and head prefects Paige Copsey, Jack Sellick, Jess Ball, James Stone, Hannah Gardener, and Rebecca Gordge.
