STUDENTS from the maths department at Castle School, in Taunton, have created a fearsome race of giants as part of the Gifted and Talented focus week.
After discovering a large footprint on the playing field, students decided to take measurements so that they were able to reconstruct the creature, through calculations of proportionality.
Patrick Storer, assistant headteacher said: "It's just as well that no one was around to see it in the flesh."
