A HORSE was mutilated in what police are calling "a nasty attack" in Somerset.
The incident happened in a stable on open land opposite Weston General Hospital, in Grange Road, Weston-super-Mare yesterday (Thursday, October 19) bewteen 9am and 5.30pm.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "Someone entered the barn, tied up and attacked the pony.
"There appears to be no motive for this.
"An investigation is underway by the local neighbourhood policing team."
