HUNDREDS of residents wrapped up warm and huddled together in Vivary Park for an annual carol service.
Organised by Taunton Deane Borough Council, the event on December 18, saw singers from Taunton Male Voice Choir and The New Horizon Singers sing Christmas classics like O Little Town of Bethlehem and O Come, All Ye Faithful as well as some more modern festive songs like Frosty the Snowman and Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer.
Children, parents and grandparents gathered around the park’s grandstand on December 18 to sing along with musical accompaniment provided by the Taunton Concert Band.
The popular event was supported by Taunton Deane Borough Council and attended by Mayor Hazel-Prior Sankey and her husband Adrian.
