A WOMAN has been arrested following an altercation outside a takeaway that put a man in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident outside Domino's Pizza, in Boulevard, Weston-super-Mare, at around 8.30pm yesterday (Thursday, December 28).

Two men were involved in the fracas and one of them, aged 31, suffered non life-threatening injuries.

He was treated in hospital but has since been released.

DC Steve Milkins said: “We know there were a number of people walking along Boulevard at the time and we’d appeal to anyone who saw any part of this incident to come forward.

“We’d also like to hear from anyone who may have filmed this altercation on their mobile phones.”

A 27-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released under investigation.
