THE thefts of valuable plant equipment in two separate incidents are being treated as linked.
A total of nine digger buckets were stolen, along with a pressure washer, industrial air blowers and high visibility jackets.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the two incidents after entry was forced to temporary buildings at two sites in the Blagdon Hill area.
The thefts took place overnight on Thursday and Friday, February 1 and 2.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We are treating the two incidents as linked and have carried out house to house enquiries as part of our investigation."
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time, or who has been offered cheap plant equipment for sale, is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5218024548.
