MURDER enquiry detectives have appealed for help in tracing a number of the victim's missing items.
Officers investigating the death of Heather Jordan in Lyngford Park on Sunday are trawling a wide area for the items.
They are keen to trace a ZTE mobile phone; a brown and yellow purse; and clothing, which may be concealed in a bag.
They are focusing on the area between Priorswood Primary School and Taunton Station, where it is believed they may have been discarded by the suspect.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "Specialist teams are searching the area but we’d also appeal to members of the public to search sheds, garages, outbuildings, and bins outside their homes.
"If you have seen or spot the items, do not touch them, but call 101 immediately and ask to speak to the Major Crime Investigation Team."
He added: "We have extra neighbourhood officers patrolling in the area to provide reassurance and receive information.
"You can raise any concerns you may have with the officers.
"You can also provide information directly to the investigative team on-line at mipp.police.uk where you need to select the tab relating to the murder of Heather Jordan."
A 52-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder after Miss Jordan's body was found in Lyngford Park on Sunday morning is still being quizzed by detectives.
