THERE are delays at Taunton train station after a person was hit by a train between Taunton and Exeter St Davids.
It is believed the incident occured near Taunton and CrossCountry has warned that train services running through Taunton may be delayed by up to 90 minutes.
Emergency services are currently on the scene.

CrossCountry says disruption is likely to last until 10pm.
Great Western Railway are conveying passengers between Bristol Temple Meads and Penzance in both directions until further notice.
Arrangements have been made so CrossCountry tickets can be accepted on other services.
A person has been hit by a train between Exeter St Davids and Taunton. Train services running between these stations may be delayed or cancelled. Road transport is being arranged between Taunton and Exeter St Davids via Tiverton Parkway.

A spokesman for Great Western Railway says lines have now reopened between Exeter St Davids and Taunton.
