A BEACH hut at Dunster beach has been destroyed by fire.
Firefighters were called to the incident just before 2pm today (Thursday).
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The incident involved one single storey holiday chalet of timber construction destroyed by a wind driven fire.
"The fire was extinguished using two breathing apparatus wearers, one compressed air foam jet, one hose reel jet and one thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
"Western Power also attended due to live power cables."
