A 20-YEAR-OLD man will go on trial charged with causing the death of Wellington woman by dangerous driving.
Jack Retter from Viney Cross, Monkton in Devon pleaded not guilty to causing the death of Carol Broxholme and seriously injuring Carol's daughter Sherryann by dangerous driving during a hearing at Taunton Crown Court today (Tuesday, March 13).
The horror crash, which involved a tractor with a trailer and a car, occurred on March 9 last year on Bridgwater Road in Taunton.
Mother-of-three Carol Broxholme, 59, lost her life in the crash, while her daughter Sherryann suffered serious injuries.
The trial is expected to last between four and five days.
