A RECORD 38 people, including seven children, took part in Wiveliscombe's annual Clean Up Day on Saturday.
The volunteers met in The Square to collect their rubbish bags and disposable gloves before heading off into the town's lanes and alleyways.

They litter picked, swept and generally cleaned the town.
The initiative is organised by the Wiveliscombe Civic and Historical Society and has become a regular feature in the town calendar.
