THIS is the result of a single-car crash on the outskirts of Taunton and the driver was apparently lucky to escape with his life.
The driver was treated at hospital for his injuries following the crash on the B3227, a couple of miles west of Norton Fitzwarren.
Officers were called to find this overturned wreck of a blue Honda on Tuesday (June 12) and placed police tape around it.
The car lost a wheel and the front of the vehicle has been completely crushed in the crash.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: “Police were called at about 9pm on Tuesday 12 June to a single-vehicle collision in Norton Fitzwarren.
“The man driving a car which crashed was taken to hospital and released after treatment.”
