The Wellington School Year 11 Prom was a superb opportunity for pupils to relax and let down their hair after an arduous GSCE exam period.
It was organised entirely by pupils. This year, Ann Mear and Charlotte Stone were in the driving seat and did everything from scratch, from hand-written invitations to individualised party favours on the tables.
It was held at the beautiful venue of Hestercombe House, and guests arrived in style in the traditional array of eccentric and glamourous vehicles.
Guests enjoyed a pre-prandial drink and photos in the gorgeous grounds, before heading into the beautifully decorated Bampfylde Hall to have dinner amongst friends.
There was a hilarious slide-show of pupils throughout their time at Wellington, then much fun was had in the photo booth, with wigs, beards and specs! Afterwards, many of them headed off for a post prom party on a farm on Exmoor.
