NORTH Curry Church of England Primary School is an outstanding primary school set in beautiful grounds in the heart of the village.
Head teacher Helen Morley said: "We can offer an enriched curriculum, excellent sports provision and varied music tuition."
Mrs Morley added that there are spaces available for children in all year groups from September.
Anyone interested in obtaining more information or going on a guided tour should contact her at the school on 01823-490423.
North Curry CE Primary School is now part of the Richard Huish Trust, an independent charitable organisation established by Richard Huish College, an academy sponsor approved by the Department for Education to support local schools.
The trust aims to provide exceptional education and training through the delivery of a holistic and vocational curriculum and enables young people’s progression throughout their school career and into further or higher education, training and employment.
It also offers Mrs Morley and other head teachers overseen by the trust a high degree of autonomy in the work of leading their schools, with the freedom to focus on teaching and learning.
The school vision is for "a broad, balanced, challenging and exciting curriculum, which allows all children to reach their full potential in a happy, stimulating, inclusive and safe environment".
The ethos is one which is "stimulating, safe, welcoming, positive, exciting", in which children are "active and motivated learners, developing learning for life in a Christian environment".
And the aim is for pupils who are "happy, engaged, hard-working, motivated, confident, determined, well-mannered, respectful of others, caring, well rounded citizens and willing to contribute to all aspects of school life".
The school works to help pupils achieve their full potential in an environment that is fun.
Parents are supportive and actively involved in the school and the Friends of North Curry School (FONCS) raise money to fund extras, go on trips, have visits from travelling theatre companies and school discos among other things.
The group also paid for a mindfulness enrichment week.
