TRAFFIC lights at Taunton's two busiest junctions, including the M5 roundabout, were out for more than half an hour after a power cut hit the area.
A spokesman for Highways England confirmed that the traffic lights were not working around the whole junction 25 roundabout for the M5 as a result of the power outage.
The Creech Castle traffic lights, at the junction between A358 and Bridgwater Road, were also reported to be not working.

More than 120 home were also initially without power.
Western Power Distribution said postcodes affected by the power cut are:
TA1 2LR, TA1 2DX, TA2 8RX, TA2 8QY, TA2 8DE, TA1 2LP, TA1 2BB, TA2 9QY, TA2 8BD, TA1 2EJ, TA1 2UA, TA1 2UH, TA3 5LT
Power has been restored to the lights.
