SPECTATORS were left in shock after a circus performer fell 20 feet during a show at Butlin's in Minehead.
The performer was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol having suffered injuries to his head and wrists.
A Butlin's spokesperson said: "We have been told the person who fell was from a travelling entertainment group and not a Butlin's employee.
"The man fell about 20 feet. He has broken some bones but is expected to make a good recovery."
The ambulance and air ambulance were sent to the scene at Butlin's, Warren Road, Minehead at 2pm on Thursday, August 9.
