A MAN has been arrested after a masked burglary at a jewellery shop in Wellington - with three men still being hunted by police.
Criminals hit Joseph Welch Jewellers in South Street at around 3.30pm, injuring a member of staff before making off with a number of watches.
The theives abandoned a pick axe at the scene before fleeing in a car.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Two men wearing masks smashed the window and grabbed a number of watches and left the area in a car.
"One man who works in the jewellers is reported to have suffered cuts to his hand after the window was smashed.
"Shortly afterwards a car was stopped in Taunton and a man has been arrested – he remains in police custody.
"The search continues for three other men believed to have been in the car.
"Anyone with information is asked to call us quoting 5218179997."
A police cordon has been put up around the South Street store as investigations at the scene continue.
