I CANNOT believe that the council (Taunton Deane Borough Council) is happy to spend £1.2million on “variable message signing boards”, yet will allow Outreach to be at a risk of closing for lack of £40,000 which they are expecting Arc (formerly Taunton Association for the Homeless), the County Gazette and the public to raise to keep the organisation going.

£40,000 is a drop in the ocean to help some of the most vulnerable in Taunton, and yet the council willingly spends vast amounts on superfluous signage which I simply do not accept has anywhere near the same value as supporting those in as much need as the homeless.
The priorities seem all wrong.
