A MAN has died during a visit to Butlin's in Minehead.
Emergency services were called to the holiday park at around 5.50pm yesterday to reports a 29-year-man had collapsed.
The first aid team at Butlin's responded and tried to revive the man before the ambulance and air ambulance arrived.
Sadly their attempts were not successful and the man passed away.
A spokesman for the police said: "We were called to Butlin’s in Minehead at 5.50pm yesterday following the sudden death of 29-year-old man.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and enquiries will now be carried out on behalf of the coroner.”
A spokesman for the holiday park said their thoughts are with the man's family and friends.
A spokesman for Butlin’s Minehead said: “Emergency services were called yesterday afternoon following a guest collapsing on site.
"Our first aid team responded quickly to provide assistance prior to an ambulance and air ambulance attending the resort.
"Sadly, the man could not be revived and tragically passed away. This is a hugely upsetting incident and our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends at this time.”
