THE doors of Taunton Ambulance Station were opened for the public at the weekend so people could see what goes on inside.
Plenty of family fun was laid on for visitors at the open day at the service's Lisieux Way base on Sunday.
People were able to meet local ambulance staff as well as having a tour of the building.
There were emergency displays, CPR awareness, health checks, including NHS blood pressure readings, face painting and a bouncy castle.
