FIRE: Crews from Taunton were called after reports of a washing machine fire in Taunton
FIRFIGHTERS were called to a property in Taunton following reports of a washing machine fire.
One fire engine was sent to the incident at St Joseph’s Field at 10.20pm on Saturday (August 25).
On arrival, crews confirmed there had been a fire in the washing machine motor but it had gone out.
Firefighters used small tools and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
