A MAN has been given a 12-week suspended prison sentence after going on a rampage at a mental health hospital.
Adam Brown, whose address is listed as Wellesley Hospital, Wellington, was given the sentence after appearing at Taunton Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 29.
The 39-year-old had been receiving treatment at the psychiatric hospital before committing a series of offences in April earlier this year.
He was given three 12 week concurrent sentence suspended for 12 months for three counts of assault, and three six-week concurrent suspended sentences for three other assaults.
He was also given three four-week sentences to run concurrently for three counts of damage, including to a computer monitor and a door.
The overall length of his suspended sentence is 12 weeks after pleading guilty to all offences.
He was also ordered to pay £115 compensation and £85 costs.
