POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic accident on the A39 Porlock Hill yesterday morning (Monday, September 3).
The collision, which was reported at 11.43am, involved a Triumph Speed Triple motorcycle and a Citroen ZX Furio.
Unfortunately, the rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 40's, suffered serious injuries during the incident and later died at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The occupants of the Citroen were not injured.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have been travelling on the road at the time.
