AT the first meeting of the new season on September 3, Phoenix Group of Photographers viewed the 100 best slides selected by the Western Counties Photographic Federation for their slide folio.
There was a wide selection of subjects and some very interesting and arresting photographs. Some had been carefully planned, others owed their success to the photographer's ability to see and capture a scene. In each case the lighting played an important part.
Attendance was very good and included several new members. Next Monday (September 10) will be an Open Evening when all are welcome to come and see what we do: contact 275200 for more details.
