TAUNTON MP Jeremy Browne has been getting out and about to visit the smaller communities in his constituency.
He has been to 30 villages as part of his summer rural surgery tour.
Mr Browne said: "Hundreds of people come to see me every year at my regular advice surgeries held in the towns.
"Every summer I also take my advice surgery on an extensive tour of rural areas.
"This year I covered 30 villages stretching over four days.
"My tour takes in large rural communities like Wiveliscombe, Bishops Lydeard and Cotford St Luke and also includes small villages such as Burrowbridge and Waterrow.
"I am pleased that a good number of people have come to meet with me during my rural surgery tour.
"I also welcome the opportunity to catch up on community developments in each of the villages that I visit."
