WATCHET'S own Royal British Legion Band paid a visit to their twin town in France last week.
During their five-day visit the band played a number of concerts in the ancient town of St Renan, in Brittany.
Band member, Keith Wiseman, said: "The band members were given wonderful hospitality from their French hosts and during their visit many old friendships were renewed and many new friends were made."
On Saturday the Mayor and town of St Renan at the town hall gave the band an official reception.
Prior to the reception the band staged a concert outside the town hall (pictured).
Band Leader Peter Wilson declared the visit a resounding success.
