PROPOSALS for a museum and carriage shed at Bishops Lydeard Station will be unveiled at a public meeting in the village hall from 9am on Saturday, September 15.
Representatives from West Somerset Steam Railway Trust will explain the plans and answer questions.
Project Director Robin White said the current museum was too small and needed modernising, while the trust needs a weather-tight building to house two seven-coach trains and other vehicles.
Developers Gadd Homes also want to build homes, offices and an inn/restaurant at Station Farm.
