QUANTOCK Rotary Club heard from the local organisation Clowns' at their latest meeting.
With four vehicles - including a double decker bus - Clowns travels around the outlying areas of the district to bring a pre-school environment to children who might otherwise not have this experience.
Kathy Morgan from Clowns told how the group also assists parents with local information, which is harder to received if they are unable to access main town centres.
Clowns costs £150,000 a year to operate and so the Rotary Club were keen to help fund the service.
Our photo shows Quantocks Rotary President Trevor John presenting Kathy Morgan with a cheque for £150.
