A SPONSORED dog walk is being staged by Bishop's Hull-based St Margaret's Somerset Hospice to raise funds for its £2million New Build Appeal.
The Walk on the Wild Side' is at Ramscombe, Over Stowey. from 10am-3.30pm on Sunday, September 30.
People, who pay £5 to register their dog, can either cover 2 miles or 3 miles.
Michel Evans, Appeal Manager at St Margaret's Hospice, said: "The Walk on the Wild Side' event promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family whether they have two legs or four!
"Owning a dog is a great way to get exercise and it is also a fun way to meet people - we are hoping people and their pooches will be out in force and will help raise money for The Appeal."
If the idea appeals to you, your family and your four-legged friend, why not put the date in your diary.
Sponsor forms are available from the Appeal Office, 10/12 Bridge Street, Taunton, or call 01823 321899 for more information.
