WURZEL Tommy Banner, from Taunton, is backing the Run for the Future on the Bristol Downs Sunday, September 16.
The event, involving a 5k run/walk/jog, aims to raise funds for equipment and research into prostate cancer, which Tommy discovered he had a couple of years ago.
Organisers from Bristol Rotary are appealing for people across Somerset to take part to boost the Bristol Prostate Cancer Appeal, based at the Bristol Urological Institute at Southmead Hospital.
