A TAUNTON therapy centre is giving people the chance to pamper themselves and raise money for charity at the same time.

The Terrace, on Staplegrove Road, provides humanistic psychotherapy and complementary health and is hosting an open event on Saturday, October 13, in support of brain-injured children's charity Bibic.

Participants can chose from a range of therapies for a flat rate of £20 - all of which goes to Bibic as therapists are giving their time for free.

Therapies include counselling sessions, massage, acupuncture, bowen technique, cranio sacral therapy, and homoeopathy. There will also be a raffle on the day.

Terrace founder and director Jane Gotto said: "This is a wonderful opportunity for people to receive professional treatments at affordable prices - and feel good about supporting such a good cause as Bibic.

"My relationship with Bibic goes back many years when friends of mine brought their son to Bibic for assessment. The help and support they received helped him to achieve main stream education."

John Bennett, of Bibic, said: "This is just a wonderful way to raise funds. We are extremely grateful to Jane and the therapists of The Terrace for giving their time and for organising such a fabulous event.
