The A303 at Ilminster, looking towards Taunton
TRAFFIC on the eastern approaches to Taunton is disrupted today following an accident near South Petherton.
The A303 near the village has been closed since 3am this morning.
There is conflicting information as to how long the road will be closed, with times given by emergency services ranging from 9am to midnight tonight.
Traffic was reported as heavy on the A358 around Thornfalcon.
