HUNDREDS of people enjoyed an action-packed fun day to round off the summer holidays in Hamilton Park, Taunton, on Saturday.
Taunton Deane Borough Council worked with several partners to organise the event with activities designed for all the family to enjoy.
The charity activity day was in aid of the New Link Centre, which will be the hub for the Taunton East Development Trust.
The day supported health and well-being, focusing on what people can do to improve their health, such as physical exercise and feeling part of the community.
There were around 60 exhibits and fun things to do, ranging from climbing walls, an athletics track, and dance workshops to an assault course and tug o’war.
There were birds of prey and trained chicken demonstrations alongside demonstrations from the fire service.
The RSPCA, Forestry Commission, ASDA, Tesco and Pets at Home also took part, with advice and taster sessions to promote on healthy eating.
