CHILDREN on a ward in Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital will be able to take their minds off their treatment thanks to an open air party in the town early this summer.
Some of the profits from Rock on the Green, held on St Andrew's Green, in Rowbarton, went on an X Box One S and extra games and controllers for the children's unit at the hospital.
Event committee members Carl Davies and Dave Stevens have visited the unit to hand over the goodies.
And cash donations from the more than £2,000 raised on the day have been split between North Taunton Scouts, Priorswood Primary School and Mission In North Taunton (MINT).
Cheques have been handed over at a presentation at the 68 Club, in Cheddon Road.
