AFTER the famous WI members of Knapely bared their flesh for a calendar, Fon Cosens persuaded her friends to do the same, after one of their husbands was diagnosed with cancer.
Taunton’s version of Calendar Girls was launched on Saturday 15th September at the Cooper Associates County Ground and was attended by over 140 people.
Guests enjoyed a variety of entertainment throughout the evening, including examples of Thai and Tahitian dancing, comedy by Arnold Gutbucket and live music from Man from Funkle.
Fon Cosens, creator of the All Walks of Life calendar, explained: “I was very pleased is was a great success. Thank you to all sponsors and my team who worked so hard.”
If you missed out on the event and would like to purchase a calendar, they are available now in Country Flower stores and Collards Butchers.
