A MAN was cut free from the wreckage of a car following a one-vehicle collision this morning (Thursday).
Fire crews attended the incident on Sampford Arundel Road, Sampford Arundel, at 8.38am after police reported a road traffic collision.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Upon arrival crews found there to be a single vehicle collision with one male casualty still trapped within a car.
"Crews set to work stabilising the vehicle and extricating the casualty using small tools.
"The male was left in the hands of the ambulance service and duty of care of the scene was handed over to the police."
