THERE will be a feast for your eyes at the food and drink festival this weekend, with four top guest chef dinners, exhibitors, workshops, talks and demos.

Feast food and drink festival returns to The Castle at Taunton from 27 – 30 September.

Taunton will welcome an even bigger line-up of top chefs, including Michael Caines (Lympstone Manor) and the legendary Phil Howard (Elystan Street).

Somerset County Gazette:

Added to the free talks and workshops, there will also be ticketed masterclasses scheduled in the Castle Hotel Penthouse, where you can learn about high-quality artisan food making, wine tasting and much more.

“It’s been quite a journey so far that has been met with so much support and enthusiasm from the local community,” says Liam, executive chef and organiser of Feast. “Hinkley Point suppliers, Somerset Larder have joined us this year as sponsors.

Somerset County Gazette:

“We’ve also partnered with local charity, Love Musgrove and are donating a portion of the ticket price from our chef dinners to help the local hospital.

“The lovely ladies from Go Create are returning to do food related arts and crafts with the kids. This is a real family event with a strong sense of community pride and we can’t wait to see everyone again.”

Community fundraiser for Love Musgrove, Joanna Duncan, explained: “Love Musgrove is very excited to be the selected charity for 2018’s Taunton Feast.

“This great event run by The Castle Hotel is a wonderful opportunity for us to raise awareness about the work of Love Musgrove and how members of the local community can get involved in our fundraising programmes.”
