HERE'S your last chance to take a glimpse of a former pool in Taunton where thousands of people learnt to swim.
A demolition team has today (Monday) moved onto the site of the St James Pool, off Coal Orchard Car Park.
They are beginning to knock down the interior of the building, which closed in July 2016 after 88 years.
Exterior demolition work is expected to start next month.
A section of the car park has been fenced off this week and commuters are being warned it will not fully re-open until Monday, December 3.
The pool building is going ahead of a multi-million pound development at the site that will include shops, homes, offices, restaurants and a gym.
