AN elderly pedestrian has died after being hit by a car.
The 70-year-old man was involved in a collision in Langport on Tuesday and has since sadly died from his injuries.
The man was airlifted to Southmead Hospital, in Bristol, following the collision on North Street at about 7.50pm.
Police say he died yesterday (Wednesday) evening.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "We continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident, which involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa, to contact us.
"If you can help, please call the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5218226552."
