AFTER a damp start across the county, the clouds are set to linger over Somerset threatening possible further rain later on.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "A rather cloudy day, with mist and fog over the moors, and with some spells of light rain and drizzle, especially in the east.
"It will be drier and brighter across Cornwall, with perhaps some sunny spells here at times."
The maximum temperature is set to reach 15C, before falling to a minimum of 5C overnight.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "A murky start, with perhaps the odd patch of drizzle lingering over the Moors. It should brighten up during the afternoon, but cloud and rain spread into Cornwall by evening."
The temperature is due to peak at 16C.
