MORE than 100 loved ones were remembered during a ceremony at Taunton Deane Crematorium on Saturday.

The Time to Remember sessions included music, readings, candles and a tree montage.

The event was led by local clergy the Revs Viv Henderson, Phil Hughes and James Clapham, supported by volunteers from churches in Taunton who helped to steward.

The Rev Henderson, minister of Minehead United Reformed Church, said: "It is a privilege to provide a safe space to remember those we have loved and lost in the place where many said their goodbyes."

Local churches will be holding similar services this month to mark All Souls and All Saints days.

Next year's crematorium event will be on Saturday, October 12, at 11am.
