BIG Mac fans were left disappointed earlier today after a technical fault left one Taunton McDonald's unable to serve beef products.
A sign was put up at the Heron Gate restaurant explaining why no beef products were available, however McDonald's has since confirmed that the problem has been rectified.
The sign on the tills
The sign stated: "Due to a mechanical fault we cannot currently sell any of our beef based products.
"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
However a McDonald's spokesman said: “We can confirm that for a short period of time the Heron Gate restaurant was unable to serve some products due to a temporary technical glitch with one of our grills.
"Normal service has resumed and we apologise to customers for any inconvenience."
