DONATION: Taunton Deane Borough Council has donated £10,000 towards the restoration of Wellington Monument
HAVING spent £10,000 towards to the endless expenditure that is the Wellington Monument, it seems odd that Cllr Mark Edwards and Taunton Deane Borough Council could of used this money to address the actual monumental problem we are all facing that is crime and anti-social behaviour in Taunton and Wellington.

I am glad the monument is getting the much-needed attention it deserves but the council, unfortunately, has bigger priorities it should be focusing its increasingly tight budget on.
