POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an incident involving a woman waiting for a bus with a child in a pushchair.
Avon and Somerset Police officers are keen to speak with anyone in the East Street area at around 11am on October 18.
A spokesman said: "A woman with a pushchair containing a child was waiting at the bus stop when a man approached and grabbed the pushchair, while being abusive to the woman.
"After the woman and child got on the bus, the suspect stood at the window banging it and shouting at the victim, as the bus drove away.
"We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, particularly near the bus stop or anyone who was on the bus."
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 5218233237.
