SOMERSET is set for sunshine and rain across the county today - with some areas facing a chance of hail and thunder.
In their south west summary, Met Office said: "Early rain will clear southwards to leave a colder day with sunny spells, scattered showers and brisk northwesterly winds. Showers will be heavy at times, with the risk of hail and thunder."
The temperature is set to peak at around 12C, before falling to a minimum of 0C.
Tomorrow's forecast said: "Cold and windy with plenty of sunshine through the morning, although showers continuing in the west. Turning cloudier by the afternoon, perhaps with a few showers in the east later."
The maximum temperature is set to be 10C.
