THREE talented dancers from Taunton have moved on to top schools.

Sophie Taylor, 18, Ben Newman, 16, and Adam Reid, 18, all trained at Trull School of Dance before gaining places at the prestigious schools.

Sophie, who has been dancing since she was 4-years-old, has started at Trinity Laban based in London.

She said:" I have learnt so much from the teachers at Trull School of Dancing and forever grateful but I am now ready to push ever further to accomplish any changes coming my way.

"I have now moved to London and started my three year contemporary course at Laban and I'm having the most fantastic time.

"Thank you to everyone for helping me get my dream."

Ben has been dancing at the school since he was 7-years-old. The talented teenager has had years of experience with ballet, including being a junior associate for the Royal Ballet School. He has now attending KS Dance in Cheshire after being offered a full-time bursary.

Adam has been training at the dance school for eight years. He is also talented in singing and acting and hopes to pursue a career in musical theatre. He is now heading to Bird Dance college in London.

Esther Lunn, principal of Trull School of Dancing, said: "We miss them all very much but we are so proud of all that they have achieved with us here at the school.

"They left us with very high level dance exams and show principals which is just amazing. They have all worked so very hard and I am sure they all have a wonderful future ahead in the world of dance and performance. I am sure they will soar and turn their dream into a reality."
