MINEHEAD is all set for a town-sized Halloween Day of the Dead fancy dress party tomorrow (Wednesday, October 31).

The brainchild of local resident Emma Hobbs, the family-friendly event kicks off at noon on Wednesday, October 31.

Many local shops, businesses, cafes and bars have already agreed to dress up, and schools and nurseries have been busy making spooky sculptures and props which will be displayed in Blenheim Gardens.

Craft workshops and face painting at the Old Hospital have already been busy, while tomorrow there will be a series of workshops and mini-monster bash discos at Minehead Old Hospital, and then at 6pm a Pumpkin Parade and award ceremony at Blenheim Gardens.
