THREE teenagers have been arrested after allegedly robbing a young man at knife-point.
The suspected robbery took place near the bus stop in Fore Street, Taunton, near to the Hammet Street junction at around 6pm on October 31.
Two male teenagers, 15 and 16-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and attempted robbery. The 15-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A third teenager, aged 17, was later arrested on suspicion of robbery.
The three suspects allegedly robbed the victim, a 17-year-old boy, of his wallet.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to reports of a robbery at about 6pm on October 31 outside the bus stop in Fore Street in Taunton.
"Three suspects robbed the victim of a wallet before leaving the area.
"Two male teenagers, aged 15 and 16, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and attempted robbery. The 15-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
"A third teenager, aged 17 was also arrested on suspicion of robbery. He voluntarily attended a police station and enquiries are continuing.
"All three have been released on police bail.
"We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help our enquiries."
