AN iconic swimming pool where thousands of children took their first paddle is rapidly disappearing.
A demolition team has been hard at work knocking down the former St James Pool, in Taunton.
It closed when a new pool was opened at Blackbrook Pavilion.
The demolition comes ahead of a multi-million pound development on Coal Orchard Car Park.
Homes, shops, offices and cafes and restaurants will be built, with work due to start in February.
