LIGHTS OUT: The traffic lights outside Debenhams in Taunton
MOTORISTS are warned traffic lights on a busy Taunton road are not working.
The lights, outside Debenhams on North Street, are currently not functioning.
The lights enable drivers to turn into St James' Street and also allowed pedestrians to cross - but traffic appears to be coping well.
Somerset County Council has been contacted for a time scale when the lights will be mended.
A spokesman said: "We’re aware of this and a contractor is en route to inspect.
"No timescales at the moment."
